Hey, I’m Anja! I grew up in southwestern Germany and love all things creative. Starting out as a trained bookseller, I've honed my communication and sales skills for more than fifteen years. Understanding customer needs, teamwork, and flexibility come natural to me.

My love for technology was awakened when I moved to Ireland in 2010 to work at Apple in various roles, from iOS tech advisor to Apple Online Store specialist for consumer, education and business sales. Changing from the book trade to a technical setting was a rewarding experience. Here, I was able to push my previously acquired skills to new levels. As a polyglot, I thrive in multicultural settings! When my journey took me to Geneva, I worked there as a German and English language teacher with smaller groups and individual learners, tailoring my courses according to their respective needs.

During the pandemic, I re-discovered my passion for design and coding, which meant learning HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with Coursera and Udemy courses.

Back in Germany, aspiring to become a web developer, I graduated from Opencampus' frontend developer bootcamp and have since continued to further my developer skills autodidactically every single day.

I love creating stunning and useful apps and websites for everyone. Websites built with React, TypeScript and Next.js, styled with Tailwind CSS plus sprinkles of GSAP, Framer Motion, and Three.js, allow me to do just that.

Now, I am eager to join a team as a front-end developer, leveraging my diverse background and passion for coding. My experiences at Apple have instilled in me a deep appreciation for user-centric design and cutting-edge technology. I am motivated by the opportunity to collaborate with like-minded professionals, contribute my unique perspective, and continue growing in a dynamic field.

By joining a company's development team, I aim to apply my skills in creating accessible and engaging web experiences, while also learning from seasoned developers and staying at the forefront of industry trends.
